The digital scale, from Accu-Cull, offers a convenient way to measure fish weight with the utmost accuracy down to 100th of a pound. Whether it be for tournament bass fishing or just plain bragging rights this digital scale is an excellent choice for any angler. Featuring a big, backlit LCD screen, Accu Cull's digital scale is easy to read in any lighting. Once the fish is weighed, the user can apply the hold function which keeps the weight locked in even after the fish is removed - this is an excellent feature for tournament fishermen who need to record the weight for culling purposes. The scale uses a large weigh hook that can easily be slid through a metal clip or under the fish's gill and is capable of holding up to 55lbs. When not in use, magnetic force keeps the weigh hook sitting flush against the unit and away from any potential damage that could jeopardize accuracy. Additionally, the scale is water resistant and won't be harmed by a bit of water splashed on it here or there. Two AAA batteries are required to power the scale and will last quite a while as a result of the automatic shutoff after 50 seconds of inactivity.
