Accurate Boss Valiant Reels

The Accurate Boss Valiant is a single speed lever drag reel designed for saltwater fishing applications such as jigging or live bait fishing around wrecks. The Valiant line is unbeatable for inshore and light-action offshore applications. The Valiant is the first of an entire new generation of reels designed with CVX technology. Created with precise, powerful performance in mind, it has proven itself globally in a short period of time. The curved designed of the frame and sideplate allowed us to design a reel that is incredibly light, but extremely strong. In addition to being the lightest series of reels on the market, the Valiant has incredible free spool, allowing for you to fish the reel all day and focus on fighting the fish, not your tackle.

The unique curvature of the Valiant's rugged body gives this compact, extremely lightweight reel the structural integrity of models twice its size. Basing the Valiant?s design on the original premise of the Roman Arches or Domes used in early architecture, Accurate has been able to create a significantly stronger reel using less material. While the Valiant?s walls are thinner, its non-flexing frame and side plate enable it to withstand more stress than similarly sized reels.

Accurate has also managed to fit the drive train of a bigger reel perfectly into the Valiant's small profile. It also features a deeper, wider spool than any other reel in its class, ultra-strong, high-precision stainless steel gears, a blazing 6:1 gear ratio, and a comfortable power handle that makes it easy to winch in the most determined game fish. Put quite simply, the Valiant offers performance that's as close as you can get to a two-speed in a single-speed reel.

The Valiant also incorporates a new Accurate feature - an easy-find "Cam Stop" at strike. Instead of having buttons at free spool and strike, the Valiant has a secure indent in the Drag Cam that stops the drag lever before going into full. This useful feature offers a fail-safe during the heat of battle, preventing the angler from going too far into full drag.
