The Dobyns Champion XP Spinning Rods are the new generation of the popular Champion Series rods. The Champion XP Spinning Rods retain the same great features of the previous models, but now come with a different cork composition and premium Fuji guides (previously Kigan).

The Champion XP Spinning Rods from Dobyns Rods cover the entire spectrum of finesse fishing applications that call for the use of spinning rods. Designed by legendary angler Gary Dobyns, Dobyns Champion XP Spinning Rods are made to meet the needs of bass fishermen and the techniques they employ. The Champion XP Series displays quality throughout including premium components such as: Fuji tangle-free K-guides with Alconite inserts, Fuji Reel Seats, custom snag free hook holder and a high modulus blank and high quality grade AA cork split grip handles. The Champion XP Spinning Rods cover all spinning rod techniques from drop shot and darter heads to heavy Carolina rigs.

    Great rod for skipping stickballs and for shaky heads. Soft tip and plenty of backbone with enough length to play the fish
