The Fury Series serves as Dobyns new introductory series, coming in below the Savvy series by about $40. When considering which Dobyns Rod series is right for you, price should be your first consideration as Dobyns has done an excellent job developing rods for anyone's budget. The differences in the rods series are quite significant, from the top of the line Champion Extreme to the introductory Fury Series. Essentially, when developing the Fury Series, Dobyns used the $100 range as their guide and set out to build the best possible rod at that price. The Savvy Series shares that design philosophy, with both series being very well received by bass fishermen who were not expecting such quality at such an affordable price. The Champion Series, on the other hand, was built to offer the best full series of rods possible - encompassing all of the rod lengths, actions and powers needed to meet the needs of any bass fisherman. From there, the Champion Extreme Series, the premium series of rods, was created to enhance a few particular techniques with some upgrades in components and blank modulus. The sole intent of their high end line is to give discerning anglers some enhanced features that are appreciated for very specific techniques and applications.
