The Jackall Cross Tail Shad is a soft plastic, hand-poured worm that resembles small forage fish that bass often feed on. The Cross Tail Shad has become a popular drop shot bait for all species of bass due to its subtle action, small compact size, and detailed colors. The 4" Cross Tail Shad is best rigged on a drop shot in both shallow and deep water. Some anglers find the bait to perform best when rigged flat side up as suggested by Jackall themselves. Jackall developed the Cross Tail as the world's first worm specifically for the drop shotting technique. When you shake the worm the tail shakes and the body vibrates. The Cross Tail Shad was developed in 1999 and has been a big success all over the world; garnering a reputation for its prowess as a smallmouth bait. The Cross Tail can also be rigged wacky style on the drop shot rig; when using it in this manner make sure to have a long leader somewhere in the 18" range so the bait can reach its full potential. The Cross Tail Shad is 4" long comes 8 per pack.
