The O.G. Football Jig bait starts with a smaller 3/0 Gamakatsu Jig Hook. Another difference is the Hand-Tied, Double-Wire Weedguard. It mostly helps to keep the trailer from getting hooked on the hook point but will lightly deflect cover also. It makes Hooksets a breeze and almost unnecessary. The Football Jig is one of the most effective designs ever created for rock structure. Its oblong shape allows it to “walk” over and around rocks, clay, sandstone and other hard bottoms. The upright line tie allows it to pull the hook up, and hop over rocks while putting your trailer in a defensive posture. The Super Sharp 90° Gamakatsu hook and Wire Weedguard will help penetrate in deep water with lighter lines and the Hand-Tied skirt will not pull down, rotate or have strands pull out.
