The Owner Ultrahead Darter Head is a lead jig head designed for fishing the darter head technique commonly used as a finesse presentation for bass. The Darter Heads from Owner Hooks, are constructed around a super sharp, light wire round bend hook. Two presentations commonly employ the Owner Darter Heads for bass fishing applications: Dart head finesse worm or small grubs. As the name suggests, the dart head worm technique starts with the small bullet head jig such as this Owner model. Rigged with a small 4-6" plastic worm, the technique is incredibly effective on suspended spotted bass. The other use is for soft plastic grubs which are fished with a constant, slow retrieve when attempting to mimic shad.
