The Owner Straight Shank, Wide Gap worm hooks are ideally suited for flipping and pitching large baits and setting the hook on big bass. The stout nature of this straight shank hook insures no bent out hooks and shattered dreams - when you set the hook the fish is getting to the boat. Many anglers have found straight shank hooks to be more efficient for flipping and punching because the angle of the hook penetrates the plastic easier and provides a higher hook up ratio. Features include a round bend, Cutting Point, black chrome finish, baitholder slices on the inside of the straight shank, and they're XXX strong. I am looking for the strongest thinnest barbless straightbait hook that actually gives hook gap measurements, hook length measurements, & shank thickness measurements. Why is that a difficulty??? These hooks (along with almost every other manufacturer fail to offer those specs so whoever does will get my business instead. Frustrating...
