Swimbait Jig Heads
The Picasso Lures School-E-Rig Jig Heads are lead jig heads specifically designed for use with castable umbrella rigs such as the School-E-Rig. The effectiveness of the Alabama style rigs is well renowned, with anglers reporting some amazing catches of both quantity and quality. Equally well documented, however, is the demand for swimbait jig heads that are suitable for the technique. Through trial and error anglers have come to discover features that make some swimbait heads more conducive to this type of fishing. Using that information, Picasso has created a jig head specifically for the multi-lure rigs. The School-E-Rig jig heads are comprised of premium components. The fish shaped lead head includes a keeper barb which ensures the attached swimbait will remain threaded on the hook - we suggest adding a small dab of super glue for increased durability. Housed inside the lead head is a sharp 2X Strong Gamakatsu hook that provided an excellent hook up ratio. We offer the Picasso Lures School-E-Rig Jig Heads in five weights: 1/16, 1/8, 3/16, 1/4 and 3/8oz with either a 4/0 or 5/0 hook. Thejig heads are available in an unpainted or shad color pattern. Each pack contains five jig heads.
