The Trokar TK405B Barbless Octopus Hook is a light-wire, offset circle hook that's designed to meet the barbless regulations in some regions. The Lazer Trokar Octopus Hook is the most complete circle hook ever made. The long shank and offset nature of the Octopus hook offer incredible power and hook penetration resulting in a high hook-up ratio. The "up eye" also provides the perfect platform when fishing live or prepared baits. The Trokar Barbless Octopus hook possesses the same surgically sharpened hook point Lazer Trokar has become known for, but just doesn't have the barb of the standard model. Trokar designed these hooks to meet the needs of anglers who fish in bodies of water with hook regulations that prohibit the use of barbed hooks. Generally, the restrictions are put in place to aid catch and release efforts as barbed hooks can be difficult to remove and possibly increase the chance of fish mortality.
