The Ahi USA 200 Series Cast Nets are throw nets commonly used for catching live bait that will be used for larger species of game fish. The 200 Series Cast Nets are traditionally the most popular cast net for targeting a variety of bait. The 200 Series Nets feature Premium UBE Chip Monofilament Netting, 3/8? square mesh, 80 lbs test Braille Lines, and ? lbs of actual lead weight per foot. A 24 ft handline is secured with a heavy-duty anodized swivel. Each net is packed in an attractive reusable hard-shelled plastic container.
Catching your own bait provides a number of advantages over buying bait. First and foremost, the bait fish will be fresh and ready when you need them rather than keeping them percolating in the bait tank all day long. Additionally, there's no more accurate method of matching the baitfish size than taking them directly from the waters they inhabit. This allows anglers to get just the right size and coloring compared to baitfish that may have been captured commercially in different conditions. Finally, there's a real satisfaction that comes from catching one's own bait that is later used to land a trophy fish or possibly dinner.
We offer the Ahi USA 200 Series Casting Nets in five sizes - 3' - 8'. Comes in a convenient container and includes 24ft handline for throwing the net.
