The Zoom Brush Hog is a soft plastic creature style bait that has proven successful for anglers across the country. Zoom was one of the first companies to release a creature style bait and to this day the Brush Hog is still a favorite of anglers from California to Maine largely due to its versatility. The 6" Brush Hog is best described as a mutant hybrid of several different soft plastics with no real naturally existing match out there. Instead, the bait's ambiguous appearance sort of mimics everything without really mirroring anything - kind of like a Senko. Some things you just don't question. This weight allows the bait to fall slowly, without inhibiting its action yet still gets it to the bottom so it can be fished properly. Pitch the bait around light cover such as trees, rocks, grass and docks and watch as bass annihilate it. Heavier sinkers can be utilized when fishing the Brush Hog in thicker cover - commonly for flipping and pitching around grass where weights up to 1oz may be necessary.
