The "Ike Approved" series of hooks from VMC were designed with he help of 2003 Bassmaster Classic Champion Mike Iaconelli. The weedless wacky jig was designed for wacky worm techniques typically employing a finesse style worm or stick bait. Featuring several key innovations that set it apart from other worm hooks on the market, Ike integrated some of the tricks and tweaks that tournament pros have used for years to put winning fish in the boat. For one, the hook point is offset by 3-degrees to greatly increase your hook up ratio, and it also features an extra wide gap that allows it to accommodate a wide variety of wacky rigged baits. The head is perfectly balanced in order to elicit that crazy wacky jig head shaking action. The weedlessness of the wacky jig is derived from the light wire stainless steel weedguard which helps prevent snags, while not inhibiting hook sets.
