The Yamamoto 4" Fat Ika is a full bodied soft plastic bait with a similar profile as a tube bait, however it fishes quite differently. Gary Yamamoto, the genius behind the ever-popular Senko bait, designed this lure to provide the versatility other tube baits lacked. The Ika, which is the Japanese word for squid, has a skirt attached to a 4" solid soft plastic body and can be rigged in any number of ways depending on the situation. The bait is intended to be rigged skirt up on a weightless Texas rig which achieves a unique backward falling action. Many anglers use this bait for bed fish because the flair of the skirt replicates the gills of a bluegill or the pinchers of a fleeing crawdad. The variety of colors allows the angler to match any forage fish they may encounter. Each package contains 10 Ikas.
