Reliable and easy to use, the Evergreen CR-8 is a mid-depth crankbait that seeks to deliver steady results year round. Utilizing their tungsten weight transfer system and an aerodynamic design, Evergreen's CR-8 is constructed to achieve tremendous casting distance even when faced with headwinds. At the same time, the balanced weighting of the CR-8 makes for accurate presentations when you're trying to navigate casts through trees and other obstructuions. As soon as the retrieval begins, the CR-8 crankbait produces movement in the water that's enticing to the bass - shaking side to side as its bill deflects off over cover. Its not-too-bold natural vivid wobbling action is an effective magnet for schools of fish and invites the bass to take a big bite. The hexagonal cross-section of the CR-8 creates color variations and heighten its flashing effect. As is the case with all Evergreen lures, this crankbait possesses high quality components and displays detailed paint finishes.

The Evergreen CR-8 Crankbait measures 2 1/4" in length and weighs 1/2oz with a diving depth of 5-8ft.

  • A tungsten weight system along with a body and lip designed for minimum air resistance produce remarkable distance and accuracy.
  • The lure is mounted with a system of moving gravity center, but fixing its weight at a low center of gravity produces a fast swim start and great action response. It forms the base for a variety of retrieve speeds, from slow to fast.
  • The lip has a wide, square design that extends sideways. Although it has a short lip, its ability to clear not only hard bottoms, but also laydowns, is outstanding.
  • The cross-section of the hexagonal body is effective not just for water displacement but also for visual interest from flashing colors and lights.
