The Gamakatsu Octopus Offshore Hook is a heavy wire, 4x strong offset saltwater hook that possesses an inline hook eye. The Octopus Offshore Hook is designed for live or cut bait when targeting the largest big game fish such as Tarpon, Tuna and White Seabass. The Gamakatsu Offshore Octopus hook differs from a number of hooks in their line-up, specifically circle style hooks, in that it possesses a fairly long shank which is necessitated when using special live bait rigs such as double threading squid. The offset shank of the hook point penetrates fish's mouths easily even when using large chunk bait. The sharpness, strength and straight eye set this hook apart from others on the market.
