The Gamakatsu Weighted EWG Superline Hook is an offset, extra wide gap, weighted heavy wire hook that was designed for braided line applications. This hook was developed to meet the demands of fishing with braided line. Regular hooks, although strong, were often straightened out by anglers using braided lines. With the heavier, stronger wire hook that problem is no longer a concern. The Weighted EWG Superline Hook is a great choice for soft plastic jerkbaits or stickbaits. Some anglers prefer using this weighted hook over a texas rig when fishing stick baits in order to retain the vertical fall action. The Gamakatsu Weighted EWG Superline Hook is available in three hook sizes: 3/0, 4/0 and 5/0 and each has two weight options. Each pack contains five hooks.
