In contrast to the Spark Shad, the Hazedong Shad has limited body movement and instead focuses its action on the tail, producing a refined, high-pitched kicking motion. Try rigging it on a dropshot and shake the line to produce quivering tail-kicks, or test out Chris Zaldain's preferred method of drop-swimming the Hazedong Shad through areas teeming with targets.
The Hazedong Shad's finesse-oriented design is ideal for fishing in highly-pressured waters and conditions where visibility is high. A slit on the belly of the bait enables its body to compress when bitten, increasing the hook-up rate when used with offset hooks.
