The Phenix Maxim Spinning Rods is a series of three rods designed to provide anglers with a tremendous value with all rods near $100. The Maxim Spinning Rods utilize a Multi-axis Carbon Fiber scrim which allows Phenix to build extremely light and sensitive rods. Phenix Rods then selected a cross wrapped Carbon Tape to insure strength and proper flex throughout the rod blank. This process allows Phenix to be more precise with their tapers affording them more control over how and where the rod bends. Maxim Spinning Rods feature a new Phenix Designed up locking reel seat which eliminates any chance of the line catching on it, but serves the purpose of keeping your lures or hooks securely in place when the rods are not in use. Slender high density EVA handles are both comfortable and lightweight delivering a comfortable grip for anglers during an entire day of fishing. The Phenix Maxim Spinning Rods also feature SiC guides, unlike many others in this price point.
