Deep Diving Crankbait
The Strike King Series 5XD Silent Crankbait is a large bodied, deep-diving crankbait that possesses the capability to reach 15 feet. The silent version of the 5XD has become a go to crankbait for many bass anglers because of its subtle nature. When fishing deep its often that first fish that sets off a feeding frenzy among the entire school - often times leading to a wide open bite. The silent 5XD has a large bill that encourages a quick descent to its maximum diving depth where it will remain throughout the entire cast. In addition, the large diving lip acts as the catalyst in deflecting off of structural elements - a key component of drawing reaction strikes.
