The Joe Thomas signature Rooster Tail is a premium spinner and top producer for bass and schooling stripers. Try a fast retrieve during the post or pre-spawn time periods, when the water temperature is 55 to 65 degrees. Retrieve fast enough so your Rooster Tail will run within a few feet of the surface – this will produce explosive strikes from bass, particularly smallmouth!
