The Shimano TLD-II Reel is an offshore, saltwater lever-drag reel featuring Shimano's patented two speed shifting mechanism. The newer, second version of the TLD features a new frame composition that results in less breakage even under the most extreme conditions. The Shimano TLD-II is powerful, light and durable, the leverdrag TLD IIA reels offer 2-speed versatility, salt-resistant A-RB bearings and all the performance you can handle. The unique, ergonomic handles provide the ultimate in comfort while fighting the fish - a feature that should not be overlooked for those extra-long battles. The same ergonomic handle that provides comfort also generate extreme power that increases the ease of cranking. The 20 and 30 size models feature the power handle and the 50 size models possess the Power-Grip version. All models feature stamped graphite frames, graphite sideplates, an aluminum spool, a clicker and rod clamp. We offer the Shimano TLDII in four models: 20, 30, 50 and 50LRS.
